Temperatures for mortar
When temperatures reach a certain degrees it is not advisable to use mortar. It will not cure correctly and then when Spring arrives there is a good posibility it will crack.
They're are situations where you can use a heater but not usually on chimneys and some other areas. With that being said we have decided to close up until Spring when we know the weather will be acceptable for tuck pointing, and all Masonry work.
